A Positive 2013
This year, my resolutions are different than most people’s, but here they are;
1. I want to eat less cookies and more vegetables.
2. I plan on letting all my imperfections hang out. (Well, at least worrying less about what I look like, and focusing on making others feel good about themselves!)
3. I am going to exercise just for the enjoyment of physical activity, not to be the perfect size or shape.
4. I am not going to complain that eating healthy is expensive because my health and my family’s health is worth every penny.
5. I will consider my enemies, no longer enemies, but gifts in disguise. There is always some wisdom or lesson to be learned about myself through adversity.
6. I will stay true to myself, my dreams, and vision even when it seems impossible or criticized by others.
Looking at my resolutions, I see some of the lessons I have learned in 2012. A new job, family problems, and personal struggles have brought me new challenges, changes, and a new perspective. I plan on making some negatives in 2012 some of my positives in 2013!
